Internet Safety

Never use your full name or give information about where you live, your family, or the school you attend.

Check with your parents before visiting unknown sites.

Never post pictures of yourself alone or with your name attached.

Never meet in person with anyone you have met online without your parents’ permission.

Visit age-appropriate sites. Social networking sites such as MySpace or Facebook are not meant for middle schoolers.

Tell someone if anything suspicious, cruel, or scary happens online. You will NOT get in trouble for telling.
